Volunteers enhance and extend many services across the City of Greater Geraldton.

Contribute to your community and enrich your life by helping others. Centacare Family Services recognises the crucial role volunteers play in these services and has a designated service to assist volunteers and community organisations.

What We Do

Centacare Volunteer Service is a free volunteer resource and development centre. We are working to:

  • Increase the awareness and understanding of volunteering in the community
  • Increase participation of local volunteering
  • Facilitate the positive placement of volunteers in appropriate agencies
  • Assist agencies to make appropriate use of the services of volunteers
  • Provide an option for unemployed people to volunteer through the Volunteer Management Programme by promoting this service in Job Service Networks and Centrelink.
