While our services are open to people of all backgrounds, faiths and cultural groups, we offer a range of culturally specific services for Aboriginal families.

Children and Schooling Programme – Mt Magnet (Bidi Bidi)

To assist local parents/carers and children to learn a range of critical skills that form the basis of a safe and effective parent/child relationship.

WHAT THIS SERVICE PROVIDES

Under the Indigenous Advancement Strategy Bidi Bidi offers a place where children are the focus, where parents can play constructively with their children 0-3 years of age and learn more parenting skills.

WHO THIS IS TYPICALLY FOR

For parents of or carers of children in the 0-3 years age bracket.

WHAT THIS SERVICE ENTAILS

Provide support to families and improve the wellbeing of children and young people and enhance family and community functioning. It assists local parents and carers to participate in parenting activities and provide stimulating and educational activities for children.
