OVERVIEW
Hub Cap, a Men’s Hub program, is a place where men who are marginalised in the community can heal and grow through learning and creating art, music, reading and writing. It is service which came about in response to a need to provide continuity and support for ex-prison literacy students, and for men who are homeless or isolated.
WHAT THIS SERVICE CAN PROVIDE
- Literacy tutoring, group and 1:1
- Self paced learning resources
- Art therapy
- Music therapy
WHO THIS IS TYPICALLY FOR
- Men who are maginalised and/or disadvantaged within society due to a range of factors such as:
- Financial crisis or poverty
- Low or no education
- Mental health conditions
- Disabilities
- Recent release from custody
- Homelessness
