Family & Relationship Counselling
Centacare’s counselling service offers individual, couples, and family counselling, following a tailored approach to address individual client needs.
We can provide in person counselling services in Geraldton and Exmouth, and remote consultations, whether it be telephone or online, for clients working or living in remote regions or unable to attend our offices.
All Centacare services are provided within an accepting and non-judgmental environment, by our caring professionals, who work as a team to ensure you are well looked after. In person service is delivered from our purpose built counselling rooms, including a dedicated children’s counselling space.
Centacare Family Services is dedicated to our belief that all people matter, offering support for matters such as:
Anxiety & Depression, Addictive Behaviours, Family Separation Stress, Mental Health Issues, Couple Relationships, Preparing for Marriage, Parenting Issues, FIFO Issues, Childhood Abuse, Post-Traumatic Stress, Carers Issues, Work-related Stress, Grief and Loss, Weight Issues, Eating Disorders, And More
WHO THIS IS TYPICALLY FOR
Counselling is for any person who feels confusion or distress about anything going on for them, and who would like to talk to a professional trained to help them.
WHAT THIS SERVICE ENTAILS
Due to the richness of their experience and training, our counsellors employ an eclectic approach to counselling and therapy — one which draws on different theoretical models in order to tailor help to the individual client. This gives you the best chance of being able to use the counselling time and space to reflect, be supported, address issues and make changes.
During your initial registration our specialist team will identify the counsellor most suitable for you, based on their skills, experience, and areas of specialty.
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
There is a fee based on income starting at $10. If you are unable to pay the fees, please discuss this with the office manager or your counsellor as we do not want finances to become a barrier to seeking help.
FUNDING ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
