Emergency Relief

OVERVIEW

Helping people in financial crisis by providing financial or material aid and connecting them to services to build financial resilience and capability.

For emergency relief appointments please phone 08 9921 2749 at 9am of a Monday or Tuesday; appointments are limited.

WHAT THIS SERVICE CAN PROVIDE

• Food Relief
• Payment for essential services, for example pharmaceuticals
• Resources to support better financial management
• Referrals to other services as needed.
• Backpack Beds for people experiencing homelessness.

WHO THIS IS TYPICALLY FOR

• People experiencing financial crisis or in poverty.
• People at immediate risk of falling to financial crisis and/or poverty.
• Low Income individuals and families receiving Centrelink benefits or an employed person/s who hold a current Health Care Card.
• People experiencing homelessness.
