Throughout the year, you can help Centacare support vulnerable individuals and families in our community by donating new items. The items that we are most in need of do change regularly, so you can speak with our Emergency Relief coordinator for the most up to date information on what is needed.
Commonly donated items include:
- Non perishable, in date, food products.
- Blankets and warm clothing.
- Swags and sleeping bags.
- Toiletries.
Please Note: Centacare does not accept donations of:
- Used clothing or bedding.
- Open, or out of date, food products.
- Electrical items.
For donations of used clothing, we recommend St Vincent De Paul, located right next door to our office on Durlacher Street Geraldton.
Who Will Your Donation Typically Support?
- People experiencing financial crisis or in poverty.
- People at immediate risk of falling to financial crisis and/or poverty.
- Low Income individuals and families receiving Centrelink benefits or an employed person/s who hold a current Health Care Card.
- People experiencing homelessness.
