Bequests are gifts made as part of a will or trust, and are one of the most popular and flexible ways to support the causes that are important to you and your family. Bequests leave a legacy of support after passing.
We would be honoured if you were to consider leaving a gift in your will to Centacare Family Services. Bequests in support of Centacare’s work can change lives.
A gift, no matter how small, is valued, appreciated, and used to support those in need within our community. Donations to Centacare will be applied directly to the programs that impact the wellbeing of our community.
Who Will Your Donation Typically Support?
- People experiencing financial crisis or in poverty.
- People at immediate risk of falling to financial crisis and/or poverty.
- Low Income individuals and families receiving Centrelink benefits or an employed person/s who hold a current Health Care Card.
- People experiencing homelessness.
How To Donate
We suggest seeking legal advice in developing your will; however, the following is provided as a basic template of the wording that may be used.
“I give to The Trustee for Centacare Family Services (ABN 35 681 095 367)
• The rest and residue of my Estate, or
• ____ percent of my Estate, or
• ____ percent of the residue of my Estate, or
• The sum of $ ____________, or
• The specific gift of ____________.
Free of all duties and testamentary expenses for its general purposes and I direct that the receipt of that organisation shall be sufficient discharge to my executors for this bequest.
I declare that the receipt of the CEO or designated Officer of Centacare shall be sufficient discharge to my Executors and Trustees.”
