Volunteers make such a positive contribution to our community and now is your chance to recognise them as nominations are open for the 2026 Volunteer of the Year Awards. These awards, which have been held for many years now, celebrate and acknowledge outstanding Volunteers, Volunteer managers and Volunteer-Involving Organisations/Clubs/Groups. We encourage anyone wishing to acknowledge the outstanding people and community groups in our community to nominate by filling in the attached form –

Please note that for an individual nomination, the Volunteer is required to be associated to an organisation (formal volunteer) in order for this nomination to be accepted.

    Your personal information is being collected by Centacare Volunteer Service to allow a panel of judges to consider nominations for the 2026 Centacare Volunteer Service Volunteer of the Year Award and select the winner. All nominees must be residents of (or operate in) Western Australia. Deceased nominations will not be considered. Volunteer-involving organisations can self-nominate themselves, volunteer/s and volunteer manager, or be nominated by another party. Individuals cannot self-nominate themselves. Please keep your nomination examples to the past 12-month period. If the nominee is under 18 years, permission must be sought from a parent or guardian before submitting a nomination. Your personal information will only be used by the panel to select award recipients and will not be used or disclosed for any other purposes. The decision of the judges will be final, and no correspondence will be entered into by Centacare Volunteer Service. I certify that my nominee has agreed to be nominated and if he/she is a finalist his/her name and photos can be used at the discretion of Centacare in media releases, website, testimonials etc. Nominations will be kept anonymous unless otherwise requested.
