The 2017 Volunteer of the Year Awards are held in partnership with the City of Greater Geraldton and aim to celebrate and recognise the different types of volunteering that occurs in our community.
The Awards are a meaningful way to celebrate the valuable contribution of the many volunteers, organisations and events that make a difference to our community.
Nominations are now open for the Volunteer of the Year Award and Centacare Volunteer Service and the City of Greater Geraldton encourages you to nominate individuals, organisations and events by Friday 10 November 2017.
Everyone is encouraged to nominate in the following categories:
- Volunteer of the Year Award
- Youth Volunteer of the Year Award (under 21 years)
- Volunteer Manager of the Year Award
- Volunteer Involving Organisation of the Year Award of the Year
- Volunteer-Involving Event
These individuals and organisations will join the many people already recognised through these awards, which is now in it’s ninth year, in partnership with the City of Greater Geraldton.
All nominees and nominators will be invited to attend our Volunteer of the Year Awards ceremony at the annual Thank a Volunteer Day event on Tuesday 5 December from 5.30pm at the QPT.
