Current Volunteer Opportunities List

Here is a list of some of the volunteer opportunities available in your community:

Menshed Geraldton – All Rounder: Are you self-motivated? Do you love organising? This short-term volunteer role may be just for you! The Menshed Geraldton, located on the lovely Foreshore Drive are looking for an organised and reliable person (male or female) to assist them to sort out their collection of photos, newspaper clippings, certificates and other documents into a workable, functional and organised system. This may take a very organised and systematic person only a few days, but the men at the Menshed would be forever grateful. This would also assist future visitors and volunteers to the shed to be able to view their proud history and achievements in an easy-to-see folder system. If you have a few hours available and love to organise things, then please get in touch!

Australian Red Cross – Soup Patrol Team MemberWith a focus on individuals, groups and communities in vulnerable situations, volunteers deliver a free, nutritious evening meal to people who are homeless, socially disadvantaged or on very low incomes. The Team Member Volunteer is required to have excellent communication skills and an understanding and empathy for people from diverse backgrounds, at all times behaving in a completely impartial and non-judgmental manner. Volunteers always go out with at least one other team member and visit various locations.
